Why Trust Your Demons?

18 hour days.

10 bucks an hour.

I was disgusted, lost and frustrated with my life.

Many years ago I was a security officer before I became an island hopping, pro blogger.

My job was fairly easy. But I was miserable.

I trusted my demons.

I made important life decisions by fully honoring my limiting beliefs.

I lived a lie because I based my existence on doing things exclusively from a place of fear. I worked a job I did not like to because I believed I was only good enough to work such a job.

I firmly convinced myself to engineer my life on what I could not do.

I Was Not a Rarity

Most people trust their demons.

The blanket suffering experienced by the masses roots itself in an unwavering faith in their limiting beliefs.

Look around. People tend to work jobs they dislike because they fear running out of money. A shocking majority of folks marry people not out of love but because they fear the ideal match won’t come along.

As a professional blogger I’m stunned at the sheer volume of aspiring entrepreneurs who cut their online ventures off at the knees by trusting fully in their limiting beliefs.

I watched my demons dance their wicked little jig before writing this blog post.

Should I write the post? Would the post be rejected? Would I waste my time?

I decided not to trust my demons because these devilish limiters caused me years of pain and suffering.

What Are Demons?

Demons are limiting beliefs.

Check out these examples:

  • My family has always been broke so I won’t ever become rich.
  • Why bother with this venture when I know that I will fail?
  • Only talented or lucky people are happy.
  • I can’t succeed because I don’t have connections.
  • No way can I live my dreams while I’m raising a growing family.

Sadly enough, most people cling to and believe 100% in these limiting ideas.

Trusting your demons leads to an unhappy life. Even worse? If you continue to trust your limiting beliefs you will unconsciously project these cruddy ideas on your children, your significant others, your friends and anybody you impress your feelings upon.

The Origin of Demon Beliefs

You weren’t born with these ideas. But you did acquire these limiting beliefs as you grew up.

Parents, friends and society at large tend to project their demons on anybody willing to listen to their limiting beliefs.

The cycle continues.

People demonizing other people, convincing others to trust in their limiting beliefs.

You can break the demonizing cycle.

Your limiting beliefs are leased. You weren’t born with these limiters.

Trade your demons in at any time.

Accepting this realization feels exciting. Hope emerges where only hopelessness resided. You see possibility and promise. You even ponder the idea of chasing your dreams.

Trading up requires you to release your demons and to replace these limiters with loving, inspired beliefs.

Trusting these empowered beliefs can create miraculous results in your life because your thoughts, feelings and actions change dramatically when you strip away fear and replace with love.

Practical Tips for Releasing Your Demons

Stop cowering to your limiting beliefs by following these practical tips:

  • Own the limiting beliefs you have trusted implicitly; examples including working an undesirable job solely because you fear going broke or settling on a partner because you feared you’d never find Mr. or Mrs. Right
  • Face your demons by feeling the fears which charge your limiting beliefs
  • Slowly adopt a new, high energy belief system by surrounding yourself with loving people
  • Allow your passions to pull you outside of your comfort zone
  • Double down on your morning self help ritual to unearth previously buried limiting beliefs
  • Objectively analyze your limiting beliefs; are these ideas really true?

Let your demons go for good.

Let your higher self call the shots.
